Romans, Wine & the Danube: A Transnational Journey Nears Its Finale
The #RomansWineDanube project is entering its final phase after years of work connecting partners across the Danube region around a shared goal — bringing Roman heritage and wine culture back into the spotlight of sustainable tourism.
With achievements consolidated and documentation wrapped up, the project is now focused on making sure its results have a life beyond the official end date.
Final Conference Coming to Ljubuški
Next week, from 18-19th June, partners and stakeholders will come together in Ljubuški, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the final project conference. It will be a chance to look back on the journey, mark key milestones, and talk about what comes next. Partner organizations, local authorities, and regional stakeholders are all expected to be there.
A Digital Campaign to Celebrate Roman and Wine Heritage in the Danube Region
The project has also launched a digital campaign across its official Instagram and YouTube channel (#RomansWineDanube), showcasing the Roman heritage sites along the Danube and the stories behind them — told through the kind of content that actually reaches people today.
Follow the digital campaign and stay tuned for updates from Ljubuški!
