SAFETY4TMF Ljubljana meeting

On 5th and 6th November 2025, a two-day event of the SAFETY4TMF project, organized by the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute (shortly ZAG), took place in Ljubljana and at Žirovski vrh, where the Boršt TMF is located.

The first day was dedicated to the meeting of the project partners, which included an Evaluation Conference of Pilot 3 exercises (Vlahita presented by HARG, Szolnok presented by MTDWD and Algyö presented by CSONG, followed by a workshop and its summary), Presentations of the Project Progress (SO1 presented by UNIBB, SO2 presented by BUDFIRE and BGVOL, and SO3 presented by UNIBB, VIACARP and SMO), an Introduction to the Slovenian Peer-review (Boršt TMF presented by ZAG) and the 6th Steering Committee Meeting & Project Management Presentation.

On the second day, a Peer-review of the updated technical monitoring system of the Boršt TMF (a by-product of the Žirovski vrh uranium mine), established by ZAG, was carried out, followed by fruitful discussions on the topic.

The event was attended by 32 participants in person (and three more online on the first day).
