The Career Counseling Center of Slezská Ostrava Municipal District Office provides career counseling for people who are considering a career change, looking for a new job or planning their next professional step.

The counseling is provided by two counselors from the Slezská Ostrava Municipal District Office and one career counselor from MS Pakt, Czech organization working in the field of career development and support for people in the labour market.

Individual consultations focus on the client’s current situation and career options. In addition, the Career Counseling Center organizes the regular “Coffee with a Consultant” meeting at the “To místo” café in Ostrava. The informal meeting takes place every second Wednesday of the month and provides an opportunity to discuss career-related questions with a career counselor.

The Center is also organizing the group workshop “New Beginning” on October 1st. The interactive workshop focuses on identifying personal strengths and areas for development and on defining practical steps towards a career change.

Through these activities, the Career Counseling Center brings opportunities to provide practical support for people navigating changes in their professional lives
