SteelCityZen project successfully held its two-day Kick-off Meeting

The SteelCityZen project officially launched with a two-day kick-off meeting held on 17–18 June 2025 in Slezská Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Day 1 was dedicated to administrative discussions and the first Steering Committee meeting. Highlights included a welcome by the Lead Partner and the City of Ostrava, a presentation from the Danube Region Programme, and a comprehensive project management training workshop.

Day 2 was the thematic meeting open to all project partners and ASPs. It featured a presentation of the SteelCityZen concept, an ice-breaking session, and thematic blocks including:

• Overview of Specific Objectives;

• Workshop on stakeholder analysis methodology;

• Communication planning and tasks.

The event successfully set the tone for interregional cooperation and laid the foundation for the project’s upcoming activities. The agenda of the meeting is attached.
