Collaboration, successful testing, future developments – StoreMore's next steps

Within the StoreMore project, the joint testing of the modelling and optimisation tools has now been successfully completed, and we would like to sincerely thank all consortium partners and external stakeholders for their active contribution. In total, 20 completed "End-user tools survey form" responses were received from five different countries, providing a diverse and representative picture of how the tools perform in real planning and assessment contexts. This feedback, combined with the practical testing activities, forms a solid foundation for further refinement and long‑term use of the tools.

The survey responses confirm that the tools are not only suitable for engineers working in the energy sector, but can also be meaningfully used by stakeholders with economic or non‑technical backgrounds. The wide range of user profiles provided a valuable test for the clarity of the interfaces and the intuitiveness of the workflows, and many respondents evaluated the tools positively while also sharing constructive suggestions and ideas for improvement. These recommendations are already being incorporated into the next development steps, with the aim of further enhancing robustness, usability, and applicability across different user groups.

We would also like to express our gratitude for the active participation in the two webinars organised during the testing period and for the time invested in watching and using the two tutorial videos introducing the tools. Your engagement in these sessions, the questions raised, and the concrete use cases you shared have significantly contributed to validating the tools under realistic conditions. Thank you once again to all partners and stakeholders for your commitment, patience, and valuable input—your contribution has been essential to the success of this phase and to the future impact of the StoreMore tools.
