Fun fact from the energy world

While working on a practical case about flywheel technology, we came across an impressive example: China has launched the world's largest flywheel energy storage system.

The Dinglun Flywheel Energy Storage Power Station in Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, has a total installed capacity of 30 MW and operates with 120 high-speed magnetic levitation flywheel units.

Every 12 units form one energy storage and frequency regulation module, with the whole system connected to the grid at a 110 kV voltage level.

Another great proof of how innovative solutions can enhance the stability and flexibility of power systems.
