Third steering committee meeting - 2025.03.25-26 Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic
On 25-26 March 2025, the third Steering Committee Meeting of the StoreMore project took place in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic, organised by the Innovation Centre of the Usti Region. All project partners were represented in person or online.
During the two-day programme, the partners reviewed the progress achieved so far and the tasks for the next period. During the annual review on the first day, reports on energy storage options, legal environment and good practices were assessed. Progress on the Comprehensive Catalogue of Sustainable Energy Storage Solutions (CSESS), which will be a key product of the project, was discussed. The day was rounded off with an inspiring site visit to Litoměřice, where participants were able to learn about the operation of a self-sustaining renewable energy system under the SYNERGYS project.
On the second day, during the Steering Committee meeting, the partners discussed the status of the online modelling tool under development and the artificial intelligence-based renewable energy optimisation tool, which will start pilot testing in the coming period. The process of developing policy recommendations to promote sustainable energy storage was also presented. National workshops and finalisation of the recommendations are planned for the first half of 2026.
During the meeting, the partners also visited the CTU UCEEB research institute in Buštěhrad, where they learned about research in the field of energy efficient buildings and energy storage. The visit provided an opportunity for further cooperation and professional networking.
As a result of the meeting, the partners confirmed their commitment to the objectives of the project and agreed on a joint roadmap for the next steps, in particular communication activities, preparation of national workshops and development of the policy framework.
