Study trip Novi Sad 21-22 November 2024
The two-day Study trip in Novi Sad was organized by the Center of Excellence for Circular Economy and Climate Change a Serbian partner on the TEX-DAN and was held on 21st and 22nd November 2024.
The first day of the Study trip revolved around visits to the local textile design and production studio Marija handmade Šabac and I-novi textile plant in Bečej.
Marija handmade is a designer studio specialized in sewing collections made exclusively of natural fibers of wool, cotton, silk, hemp and linen to weave our textiles in my atelier. The yarns and canvases are hand-dyed by natural pigments. The studio creates unique clothing items, fashion details, but also home textile designs.
I-novitekstil is a part of the Italian Noram Srl Group. They produce high quality sportswear knitted with a seamless technology, with reduced water and energy use to reduce CO2 emission.
