Lead Partner Seminar of the Interreg Danube mechanism
As part of the implementation of the TRANSDINARICA2 project, led by the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy od Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU) as the lead partner, Katarina Polajnar Horvat and Aleš Smrekar participated in the Lead Partner Seminar of the Interreg Danube mechanism, which took place on June 11th and 12th 2025 in Bucharest, Romania.
The seminar was organized by the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg Danube Programme with the aim of improving project management under the new programming period.
The main topics of the event included: an overview of rules and recommendations for preparing content and financial reports; the responsibilities of the lead partner in partnership management and task coordination; common reporting mistakes and ways to avoid them; audit procedures and eligibility checks; communication obligations and the proper use of the programme’s visual identity; and the presentation of support tools and reporting templates (including the Jems platform).
Participation in the seminar enhanced the ZRC SAZU project team's capacity to effectively implement the activities of the TRANSDINARICA2 project, strengthened their understanding of programme requirements, and enabled direct exchange of experiences with other lead partners from the Danube Region.
