The second partners' meeting of the Transdinarica2 in Knin

The second partners' meeting of the Transdinarica2 – Transformation with Trans Dinarica – Phase 2 project was held in Knin on November 5–6, 2025. Hosted by the City of Knin, the event gathered partners from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia to discuss the development of sustainable tourism along the Trans Dinarica cycling route and to report what they have done in the project in past 6 month.

The project, co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg Danube Region Programme, aims to enhance the social and economic impact of the more than 3.000 km Trans Dinarica route, connecting the countries between Slovenia and North Macedonia (from which 5 are included in the TransDinarica2 project).

During the meeting, partners presented analyses of tourism potential, identified local stakeholders, and agreed on the next steps for implementing support hubs and improving cycling infrastructure. The event also included a tour of Knin's cultural and natural attractions (Knin Fortress, Krčić Waterfall, Cetina River spring,...), highlighting the city's role as a key point on the route. Some participants took part on the cycling tour along part of the Trans Dinarica stage.
