WE.Circular Co-creation events: driving innovation toward a circular future

April–May 2025 – Across all participating countries, the WE.Circular project partners have been actively engaged in organizing co-creation events together with the finalists from the WE.Circular Innovation Contest.

These events provided a unique opportunity for the women entrepreneur finalists to present their current business models, share the challenges and barriers they face in transitioning to more sustainable practices, and explore practical ways to apply circular economy principles.

Each session brought together a dynamic mix of green and digital innovation experts, project partners, and local stakeholders. Through structured dialogue, brainstorming, and expert guidance, the finalists explored possible scenarios for improving their models, whether by introducing circular strategies in raw material sourcing, optimizing production processes, or designing smarter waste management solutions.

The co-creation format ensured that the business development process is not only collaborative but also tailored to the real-world needs of women-led enterprises. Insights gathered during these events will serve as the foundation for the development of innovative circular business models, representing the key areas of:
-Circular raw materials
-Sustainable production processes
-Smart waste management.
