Seed Money Facility call for proposals
EUSDR Seed money facility is a tool for kick-starting development of projects in line with the 12 priority areas of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region.
The objective of the seed money facility support is to prepare projects for further funding sources, be it national, EU, transnational or cross border or from any other public or private investor (such as IFIs) or public-private partnership available in the Danube region.
The DRP offers its financial support in achieving the above mentioned objective in line with the provisions of its Specific Objective 4.1.
The developed projects shall be:
Complex - projects which are comprehensive of different actions/activities meant to address wide scopes;
Strategic - relevant for the Danube area, where the relevance is linked to core needs expressed by the Danube countries and endorsed by the Monitoring Committee;
Transnational - the effect of the project should go beyond the local/national need and address the wider Danube area in a macro-regional approach.

Call announcement and results
At its 5th meeting on 26 June 2024 in Sarajevo, the Danube Region Programme's Monitoring Committee approved 36 projects under the Seed Money Facility, allocating over €3 million in funding.
