First results of SMF call and 2nd call for proposals

The calls were open for applications from November 2023.

In early April 2024, the Interreg Danube Region Programme achieved a significant milestone by concluding its Seed Money Facility (SMF) call and the 2nd call for proposals. With an impressive 162 applications received for seven specific objectives open in the second call and 49 applications for the SMF call, the response reflects the region's appetite for collaborative projects aimed at fostering development and cohesion.

Now, a thorough assessment process is underway. This phase of the selection is set to continue until the end of 2024, with successful projects of the second call expected to kickstart in 2025. The SMF call project are expected to start already in 2024.
