DRP MC approves 30 new projects from second call

The Monitoring Committee in Zagreb has approved 30 new projects submitted under the second call for proposals of the Danube Region Programme..

On December 17, the Monitoring Committee of the Danube Region Programme convened in Zagreb to approve the selected projects submitted in the second call for proposals. The official communication of award with conditions will be sent out on January 9, 2025.

On the same occasion, the MC had an extensive discussion regarding the design of the third call for proposals, which is planned in 2025. Additionally, the stakeholders' consultation report post-2027 was reviewed and approved for submission.

30 new DRP projects approved

The second call attracted 162 applications out of which 150 were considered eligible and were further evaluated. Implementation of 30 selected projects from this call is expected to start in April 2025.

The meeting of the National Contact Points was also held in Zagreb. The network brainstormed on how to enhance communication flows to ensure that the national authorities systematically leverage project results and regional clusters.
