Third Call Statistics Emphasize the Need for Coordinated Transnational Action in the Danube Region
The Third Call closed on 15 December 2025. Statistics from the application phase clearly demonstrate a strong demand for transnational networking across the Danube Region, highlighting the shared commitment to identifying joint solutions that address common challenges and contribute to a sustainable future.
The Danube Region Programme is pleased to observe the high number of Lead Partners and Project Partners from non-EU countries. This clearly indicates that, since the start of the Programme, their institutional capacity has strengthened significantly, while their increased presence and active involvement have become an integral part of making the Programme a truly inclusive, balanced, and impactful framework for cooperation across the entire Danube Region.
