Brainstorming Better Mobility in Hungary: A2PT Workshop Highlights
The Hungarian national Active2Public Transport working group (A2PT WG) meeting took place on June 4th in Budapest, with 19 participants representing
public transport operators (including the national railway and bus companies, and Budapest transport organizers),
ministries (responsible for public transport and active mobility),
and civil organizations (such as the Hungarian Cyclists Club, Hungarian Cyclists Tourism Alliance, and Hungarian Hiking Alliance).
After a brief introduction to the A2PT project, a two-stage workshop was held to identify the main issues related to the connections between active modes and public transport.
The first phase consisted of a brainstorming session on challenges in this field, while the second phase involved participants prioritizing the identified issues based on their urgency.
