Regional Meeting in Burgenland: Paving the Way for Better Public Transport
Two working group meetings of the Active2Public Transport project took place in Burgenland. The first meeting, held on September 18, 2024, focused on public transport station design and potential improvements based on regional examples. The second meeting, on November 28, 2024, centered on developing the regional action plan, with discussions on bus stop equipment and categorization to enhance accessibility and user experience.
Both regional working group meetings were led by the local partner of the Active2Public Transport project, Mobilitätszentrale Burgenland. As a key player in the project, Mobilitätszentrale Burgenland played a crucial role in guiding the discussions, facilitating collaboration among stakeholders, and ensuring that the outcomes of the meetings aligned with regional needs and objectives for improving public transport.
