Slavkov Conference in Vienna Focusing on Multimodal Mobility
This year’s Slavkov Conference focused on the topic of Multimodal Mobility. It was organized by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Climate Action (an Associated Strategic Partner in the Active2Public Transport project), bringing representatives from Czechia and Slovakia to Vienna. Andreas Friedwagner held a keynote presentation, including an outlook on the activities of the Active2Public Transport project. Irene Bittner took part in a workshop on Active Mobility and its connection to public transport, which was organized in the afternoon. Jaroslav Martinek (A2PT Project Partner – Partnership on Urban Mobility) and Peter Klucka (Slovak Ministry of Transport), the national cycling officers from Czechia and Slovakia, actively participated in the conference.
The Slavkov regional initiative was launched in 2008 by AT, CZ, and SK and is intended to help intensify regional cooperation between Austria, Czechia, and Slovakia.
