Moving Forward Together – ANCHOR Check-in Meeting

On 23 February, our ANCHOR partners met online for a productive and forward-looking check-in meeting. These moments are always a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect on what we have achieved so far, and align on where we are heading next.

This time, we took a deep dive into the development of our Transnational Strategy. With draft chapters already prepared by our knowledge providers, the discussion focused on how to bring the different contributions together into one coherent, strategic document that truly responds to labour market and demographic challenges across the Danube Region.

Another important focus was the Local Action Planning process. In the coming months, our city partners — together with their local stakeholders — will play a key role in shaping practical, place-based solutions. Connecting transnational strategic thinking with concrete local action is at the heart of ANCHOR.

In addition, we discussed important project management topics and upcoming milestones, including reporting updates and coordination steps. We are now looking ahead to our next in-person meeting in Varaždin, Croatia, where the ANCHOR partnership will gather for continued strategic work — alongside our First Year Review.
