1st Partners meeting & Transnational workshop

The COMMHERITOUR project was kicked-off in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic on the 25th – 27th March 2024 with the 1st Partners meeting & Transnational workshop. The event was hosted by the Regional Development Agency of South Bohemia.

During their first meeting, COMMHERITOUR project partners aligned on key objectives, activities, and expected outputs, while also establishing the project's management structure. Roles and responsibilities were clarified, along with communication, reporting, and coordination procedures based on Danube Region Programme rules. A small exhibition of regional handicrafts helped partners share their cultural heritage and ambitions. The visit to Český Krumlov, including a former monastery now serving as a crafts-based cultural hub, illustrated how traditional heritage can enhance tourism and support regional identity—central goals of COMMHERITOUR in eight Danube Region locations.
