When projects connect, new opportunities take shape 🤝✨

The Culinary Trail team recently met with partners from the Mystical Danube project to explore how two initiatives supported by the Danube Region Programme can create added value together. Through open dialogue, we identified concrete synergies — from linking mobile applications and aligning sustainability and capitalization activities, to connecting culinary heritage with storytelling, legends, and cultural narratives across the Danube Region 🌍✨

At the same time, the Culinary Trail project is entering an important next phase. In the coming period, we will focus on developing Transnational Action Plans that will transform our shared strategy into concrete actions across the region. These plans aim to protect, celebrate, and sustainably pass on ethnic and local culinary heritage, while respecting the rich diversity of traditions that shape the Danube Region.

A core principle of all Action Plans is inclusion 🤝 They actively promote participation, activation, and non-discrimination of disadvantaged groups, ensuring that culinary heritage remains a shared cultural asset — open, accessible, and meaningful for all communities.

By working across borders and across projects, we are building stronger routes, richer stories, and more authentic experiences for visitors and local communities alike. Collaboration truly makes the journey more inspiring — one story, one recipe, and one community at a time ✨
