Introducing our partners: Energieinstitut at the Johaness Kepler University
The Energieinstitut at the Johaness Kepler University Linz is a non-university research institution dedicated to the further development of energy systems. With around 100 R&D projects per year, the institute contributes to making the European energy system sustainable and reducing fossil fuel consumption. Interdisciplinary collaboration between the departments of Energy Economics, Energy Law, and Energy Technology enables comprehensive analyses and innovative solutions. The current project focuses on the intelligent integration of renewable energies, the use of electric vehicles as mobile storage devices, and electrolysis for the production of green hydrogen. The Energieinstitut at the Johaness Kepler University Linz is responsible for assessing social acceptance, analyzing the legal framework, and developing policy recommendations and strategies to promote acceptance.
