Video series about our project activities and results: the testing of the Danube Indeet Model
How does the Danube Indeet partnership test the DIM?
In this video, Adelin Lazar, senior project manager at URBASOFIA explain how the Danube Indeet is being tested. The partnership tests the DIM by applying it in real pilot territories where local data on energy systems, mobility patterns, infrastructure, and regulations are fed into the model to simulate integrated renewable energy and transport solutions. Partners run scenarios, evaluate technical, financial, and environmental results, and provide feedback that is used to refine the model, while comparisons across countries test its adaptability to different contexts. The outputs are also reviewed with local stakeholders such as municipalities, grid operators, and mobility providers to verify feasibility and implementation potential, ensuring the DIM functions as a practical decision-support tool rather than just a theoretical model.
The relevant publication will be available soon on our website.
