Capacity Building Programme: Learning, Mentoring and Practical Support
The D4SEE Capacity Building Programme was developed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of social enterprises and local public authorities, supporting their capacity to build stronger and more resilient social economy ecosystems across the Danube Region.
During the pilot phase, project partners organised 42 training sessions involving almost 700 participants, delivered 11 mentoring sessions and launched the D4SEE online learning platform, creating a flexible learning framework that combined face-to-face training, mentoring and self-paced online learning.
The pilot demonstrated that different stakeholder groups require different types of support. While social enterprises focused on topics such as marketing, financing, impact measurement and cooperation with public authorities, local public authorities were primarily interested in understanding the role of social enterprises and identifying practical ways to build successful partnerships.

By combining training, mentoring and digital learning resources, the programme created a sustainable learning environment that continues to support stakeholders beyond the project's lifetime and contributes to the long-term development of the social economy ecosystem across the Danube Region.
