Danube Social Economy Network: Strengthening Transnational Cooperation for a More Resilient Social Economy

The Danube Social Economy Network is one of the key results of the Danube4SEecosystem project, established to strengthen long-term cooperation among social enterprises, local public authorities and other organisations supporting the social economy across the Danube Region.

Building on the partnerships developed throughout the project, the Network provides a collaborative framework that encourages knowledge exchange, mutual learning and the sharing of good practices. It aims to foster stronger cooperation among ecosystem actors while supporting the development of innovative solutions to common social and economic challenges faced across the region.

The Final Conference also provided an opportunity to further strengthen the Network by bringing together partner organisations and stakeholders from across the Danube Region, encouraging dialogue, knowledge exchange and the development of future cooperation beyond the project's lifetime.

By bringing together organisations from Romania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia, the Network promotes transnational collaboration and contributes to the transfer of knowledge, practical experience and policy approaches that can strengthen local and regional social economy ecosystems. It also supports continued dialogue between public authorities, social enterprises and other relevant stakeholders, encouraging the development of sustainable partnerships beyond national borders.

An important role of the Danube Social Economy Network is to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project's achievements. The Network builds upon the strategic documents, policy recommendations, capacity-building activities, pilot actions and learning resources developed within Danube4SEecosystem, creating opportunities for their continued use, exchange and further development after the project's completion.

As part of the project's commitment to ensuring the long-term accessibility of its results, the D4SEE learning platform is now freely available to all interested users without registration. The platform provides access to the educational resources and microlearning content developed for local public authorities and social enterprises. We invite all organisations and stakeholders interested in strengthening the social economy ecosystem to explore the platform and benefit from its learning resources: https://d4see.atsnet.eu/

Through continuous cooperation, exchange of experience and joint initiatives, the Danube Social Economy Network contributes to building more resilient, innovative and inclusive social economy ecosystems throughout the Danube Region, supporting the long-term impact of the Danube4SEecosystem project and reinforcing cooperation among organisations committed to social innovation and sustainable regional development.

Organisations interested in learning more about the Danube Social Economy Network or exploring future cooperation opportunities are invited to contact the project partnership at programe@adrmuntenia.ro.
