Co-creation Workshops: Turning Dialogue into Practical Solutions

The Danube4SEecosystem Co-creation Workshops, organised in all partner countries between August and December 2025, provided a collaborative space for local public authorities, social enterprises and other ecosystem actors to identify practical ways of strengthening social economy ecosystems.

The workshops explored common challenges and opportunities for cooperation, demonstrating that successful collaboration depends not only on shared interests but also on regular dialogue, mutual trust and practical mechanisms that facilitate cooperation between stakeholders.

The ideas generated during the workshops were transformed into four D4SEE cooperation models, providing partners and stakeholders with practical tools to initiate or strengthen collaboration. These models support actions such as establishing regular dialogue, improving the visibility of social enterprises, testing pilot initiatives and strengthening organisational capacities, helping local actors identify solutions best suited to their specific needs.

By placing stakeholders at the centre of the discussion, the Co-creation Workshops contributed to the development of practical and transferable approaches that continue to support stronger cooperation between local public authorities and social enterprises across the Danube Region.
