Final National Stakeholder Meeting Held in Slovakia

On 7 May 2026, the Slovak Business Agency hosted the fifth and final meeting of the Slovak National Stakeholder Group of the Danube4SEecosystem project in Bratislava. The event brought together relevant stakeholders to reflect on the project’s key achievements, discuss current developments in the field of social economy, and explore opportunities for further cooperation beyond the project’s implementation period.

The meeting was officially opened by Jarmila Dubrovayová, Project Manager at the Slovak Business Agency, who welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of continued dialogue among actors supporting social enterprises in Slovakia.

Reflecting on the Main Project Results

During the meeting, Katarína Gavalcová from the Slovak Business Agency presented the main outputs developed within the project. These included the ecosystem status report, a catalogue of good practice examples, the project’s learning platform, results of the process audit pilot activity, as well as strategic documents such as the D4SEE Strategy, Action Plan and policy recommendations.

The presented outputs demonstrate how cooperation between public authorities, support organisations and social enterprises can contribute to a more enabling environment for the social economy at local, regional and national level.

Building on the Results Through Future Cooperation

Although the Danube4SEecosystem project will end in June 2026, its results will continue to be used and disseminated in cooperation with project stakeholders.

The meeting also introduced the newly launched ResilienCE project, funded by the Interreg Central Europe Programme. Presented by Alena Šranková (SBA), the project will focus on resilient and innovative social entrepreneurship.
