Regional Stakeholder Meeting in the Czech Republic: Action Plan to Strengthen SE–LPA Collaboration
On 29th May 2025, the Czech project partner RERA hosted a new Regional Stakeholder Meeting (RSM) aimed at advancing project development and collecting structured feedback to shape upcoming project activities.
Throughout the implementation of the project, RERA has established a diverse and inclusive stakeholder group, composed of social entrepreneurs, representatives of local and regional public authorities (LPAs), business support organizations, non-governmental organizations, and academic institutions. This multi-sectoral approach has ensured that all relevant perspectives are represented in discussions related to social enterprise development.
During this RSM, RERA presented a draft Action Plan for strengthening cooperation between social enterprises (SEs) and LPAs over the next 12 months. The action plan includes 13 specific activities grouped under two strategic priorities:
Promoting social entrepreneurship through awareness-raising and outreach, and
Capacity building and education targeting both SEs and public authorities.
The second part of the meeting was dedicated to refining the themes for upcoming capacity-building seminars that RERA plans to organize in the second half of 2025. The objective was to align the seminar content with the real needs and interests of stakeholders.
Social enterprises highlighted interest in practical topics such as:
Building a digital brand,
Using AI tools in SE management.
At the same time, there was broad consensus on the need to organize a basic, introductory session for LPAs that would explain the concept of social enterprises and the mutual benefits of cooperation.
Participants also discussed potential topics for the co-creation workshop, and reviewed recent developments in national-level support for social enterprises.
In total, 24 participants attended the meeting, contributing valuable insights that will shape the next phase of project implementation.
