Upcoming Event: Seminar and Study Visit in Bratislava, Slovakia

The Slovak Business Agency is pleased to announce the Danube4SEecosystem Seminar and Study Visit, scheduled for December 3-4, 2024, in Bratislava, Slovakia. The event will take place at the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic.

This two-day event aims to strengthen collaboration and share best practices for developing the social economy ecosystem across the Danube region. Participants will benefit from insightful seminars, interactive discussions, and inspiring site visits, with both in-person and online participation available.

Agenda Highlights

Day 1: Seminar and Partners Meeting
The first day will feature an opening session with prominent speakers, including representatives from the Ministry and project Associated Partners. Key topics include:

Institute of Social Economy: Bridging social enterprises and legislation.

Regional Initiatives: Success stories such as the Farmer Initiative and non-profit support for labor integration of disadvantaged groups.

EU Programs Inspiration: Insights from the Single Market Program - COSME.

Participants will engage in discussions and workshops to contribute to training modules and local action plans. Sessions on pilot action preparation, quality management, and strategic communication will also be held.

Day 2: Study Visit
The second day offers hands-on insights through visits to leading social enterprises and initiatives:

  • Budmerice Municipal Services (Trnava Region): Sustainable social economy practices.
  • Foundation New Cvernovka: A cultural hub combining artistic and social projects.
  • Social Enterprise BIVIO: A hotel and restaurant employing people with disabilities.
  • Odevná banka (Clothing Bank): Supporting single parents through sustainable solutions.

The seminar offers opportunities for both in-person and online participation. Interested individuals are encouraged to register in advance. Key segments will also be available via live streaming to ensure broad access.

 This event aims to foster collaboration, share best practices, and strengthen the social economy ecosystem in the Danube region, reflecting the project's commitment to inclusive and sustainable growth.
