Nature, Culture and Gentle Cross‑Border Cycling

The Silver Tour along the Danube–Drava offers a unique cycling experience through the unspoilt river landscapes of Croatia, Serbia and Hungary. The route follows the rivers Drava and Danube, part of the world’s first five‑country UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, one of Europe’s most valuable and best preserved river ecosystems.

Designed for cyclists who value nature, culture and comfort, this tour combines peaceful floodplain forests, rich wildlife and traditional villages with historic towns and regional gastronomy. The cycling stages are manageable and suitable for the Silver Generation, with mostly quiet roads, gentle terrain and the option of e‑bikes.

A special focus of the journey is the Kopački rit Nature Park, often called the Amazon of Europe, a vast wetland shaped by natural flooding and home to extraordinary biodiversity. Along the way, cyclists also discover vibrant towns such as Osijek, Apatin, Sombor and Mohács, enjoy local wines, and experience the warm hospitality of the Danube region.
