Inclusive Travel Challenge

The Inclusive Travel Challenge, implemented within the Inclusive Border Cycling project, aimed to showcase the border regions of the Danube area from a new perspective. The initiative focused not only on cycling itself, but also on the people, local stories, cultural heritage, natural attractions and gastronomic experiences that make these regions truly unique.

The challenge was carried out across the project partner countries with the involvement of local actors, influencers, photographers and content creators. Participants explored lesser-known destinations by bicycle, met local communities and producers, and shared their experiences through photos, videos and personal stories. In this way, the campaign demonstrated what inclusive, sustainable and experience-based cycling tourism can look like in practice.

The content created during the challenge was shared through social media and the project’s communication channels, bringing the hidden treasures of the Danube Region and the Inclusive Border Cycling approach closer to a wider international audience.
