Advancing Digital Twin Learning for Additive Manufacturing at the University of Zagreb in Zagreb, Croatia

Within the TransAC project framework, the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FSB) in Zagreb, Croatia continues to advance education in additive manufacturing through its Centre for Additive Technologies (CATeh).

Recent developments include the creation of digital twins for remote learning, allowing students and trainees to access additive manufacturing training even when they are not physically present in the laboratory.

These digital tools support interactive learning and enable broader participation in advanced engineering education, particularly for learners who may not have direct access to specialized equipment.

By integrating innovative digital technologies into training programs, the TransAC project promotes flexible learning approaches and strengthens knowledge transfer across the region.
