Introducing Additive Manufacturing to High School Students in Timisoara, Romania
As part of the TransAC outreach activities, the project was presented to high school students in Timisoara, Romania, providing an introduction to additive manufacturing and modern engineering concepts.
During the session, students learned about key topics such as:
Fundamentals of additive manufacturing technologies
Mechanical design principles
Engineering testing and practical applications
The activity aimed to inspire young learners and increase awareness about emerging manufacturing technologies and career opportunities in engineering.
Through educational outreach initiatives like this, the TransAC project contributes to developing future talent and strengthening connections between education, research, and industry across the region.
