Be Ready Multiplier Event in Galați: Sharing Solutions for More Climate-Resilient Cities

On 27 May 2026, the Be Ready multiplier event took place in Galați, bringing together representatives of public authorities, experts, civil society organisations, and members of the local community to discuss solutions for addressing urban heat islands and strengthening climate adaptation efforts.

The event aimed to present the achievements and results of the Be Ready project to a wider audience beyond the project partnership, supporting knowledge exchange and encouraging cooperation between different stakeholders. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the project’s main outcomes, including innovative pilot actions, digital tools, methodologies, and nature-based solutions developed to improve urban resilience and preparedness for the impacts of climate change.

A key focus of the discussions was the practical implementation and replication of the Be Ready approaches in Galați and other urban areas facing similar climate challenges. Participants exchanged experiences and explored how green, blue, and white solutions can contribute to creating healthier, more sustainable, and climate-adapted cities.
