Be Ready Partners Meet in Chișinău to Coordinate Final Project Activities

On 23 April 2026, the Be Ready project partners gathered in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, for one of the project's final consortium meetings. The meeting provided an opportunity to review progress, coordinate the remaining activities, and prepare for the successful completion of the project.

Partners presented updates on the implementation of Period 5 activities and discussed several key project outputs, including the Climate Sandbox Technical & Societal Readiness Tool, the Applied Realist Evaluation, and the Capacity Building Programme for Cities. These discussions focused on ensuring that the project's tools and methodologies will continue to support cities in addressing urban heat island challenges beyond the project's lifetime.

The consortium also reviewed the remaining milestones leading to the project's conclusion, including preparations for the Sofia Climate Festival, final reporting activities, communication and dissemination actions, and the project Quality Survey.

The meeting reinforced the strong collaboration among the international partnership and reaffirmed the shared commitment to delivering practical solutions that enhance urban resilience to climate change across the Danube Region. As the project enters its final phase, partners remain focused on maximizing the long-term impact of the knowledge, tools, and good practices developed throughout the Be Ready initiative.
