Be Ready Multiplier Event in Hévíz Promotes Climate Resilience Solutions and Knowledge Sharing
The Be Ready multiplier event in Hévíz on 28 May 2026 brought together representatives of local authorities, experts, civil society organisations, and citizens to exchange knowledge and explore innovative solutions for addressing urban heat island (UHI) challenges and strengthening climate adaptation efforts.
The event provided an opportunity to present the project’s key results, tools, and pilot actions to a wider audience beyond the project consortium. Participants learned more about practical approaches developed within Be Ready, including green, blue, and white acupuncture solutions, the UHI assessment methodology, digital tools, pilot interventions, and the online training platform.
Beyond presenting project achievements, the event created a space for dialogue, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge exchange. Discussions focused on how project outcomes, action plans, and policy recommendations can be transformed into practical measures that improve urban resilience and help cities better prepare for the impacts of climate change.
By sharing experiences and encouraging the replication of successful solutions, the multiplier event in Hévíz contributed to expanding the impact of the Be Ready project at local and regional levels. The event highlighted the importance of collaboration and joint action in creating cooler, greener, and more resilient urban environments.
