DANOVA NEXT at the European Parliament as an Interreg best practice

DANOVA NEXT at the European Parliament as an Interreg best practice

DANOVA NEXT was invited to the European Parliament as an Interreg best practice, within a high-level briefing dedicated to the future of European cooperation programmes and the assessment of investments for the next EU programming period.

Among all Interreg initiatives, DANOVA NEXT was the project selected to contribute to the discussion by presenting its concrete project experience. This invitation represents both a significant honour for the partnership and a strong recognition of the work carried out throughout the project’s implementation.

The exchange with Members of the European Parliament offered a valuable opportunity to reflect on how territorial cooperation projects can effectively advance inclusive mobility, strengthen policy coherence, and contribute to sustainable development across regions.

This milestone marks an important achievement for DANOVA NEXT and for the Interreg DANUBE REGION Programme, reinforcing the importance of practical, territory-based solutions within the broader European policy framework.
