DANOVA NEXT featured in EU Research, Winter 2025 Issue

We are proud to announce that the DANOVA NEXT project has been featured in the Winter 2025 edition of EU Research, a leading journal dedicated to pioneering research across Europe. Distributed to over 52,000 readers in 38 countries and available online with a global reach of over 300,000 impressions per issue, EU Research highlights projects that advance knowledge and have real-world impact.

The latest edition focuses on Sustainable Transport and Urban Mobility, making it the perfect platform to showcase DANOVA NEXT. The article presents the project’s objectives, activities, partners, and challenges, detailing the development and testing of our innovative transport accessibility app and its successful launch. It also highlights our pilot activities, demonstrating how inclusive transport solutions can be implemented effectively in the Danube region.

The article was developed based on interviews with Hrvoje Spremić from Dubrovnik Airport - DBV, lead partner of DANOVA NEXT, as well as Marica Mirić and Magdalena Guzalić from Croatian Union of Associations of Persons with Disabilities - SOIH, the project’s communication managers, who shared insights into the project’s implementation, outcomes, and impact.

By featuring in EU Research, DANOVA NEXT gains global visibility among key stakeholders, including policy-makers, research institutes, private sector leaders, and municipalities. This recognition not only underscores the project’s contribution to accessible and sustainable transport but also opens opportunities for further collaboration and impact across Europe.

You can read the full article in the Winter 2025 issue of EU Research, pages 62-64 (at the link provided at the beginning of this article), and learn more about how DANOVA NEXT is shaping the future of accessible transport.
