Synergy Meeting of the GREEN-TEX and TEX-DAN Projects

In the current programming period (2021–2027), the Danube Region Programme has placed a strong emphasis on fostering synergies between related projects. Among the initiatives working closely together since the beginning of their implementation are Green-Tex and Tex-Dan, both addressing key aspects of circular economy practices in the textile industry.

On January 28, 2025, in Zagreb, the Green-Tex project, together with its sister project Tex-Dan, held a joint synergy meeting in a hybrid format. The meeting was attended by project partners from both initiatives, JS officers, and a representative of NCP BiH. The primary focus of the discussions was on pilot activities planned for the second year of implementation across both projects, highlighting opportunities for collaboration, shared challenges, and strategies for maximizing impact.

As the first in a series of planned joint meetings, this gathering facilitated meaningful discussions and provided valuable insights for both partnerships. By strengthening cooperation and knowledge exchange, the projects aim to enhance their contributions to sustainability and circularity in the textile sector.
