Mystical Danube Partnership Participates in Interreg Danube Communication Workshop

On 11 June 2026, representatives of the Mystical Danube partnership took part in the Communication Workshop organized by the Managing Authority and Joint Secretariat (MA/JS) of the Interreg Danube Region Programme.

The event brought together more than 100 participants from diverse professional backgrounds to exchange knowledge and experiences on communication strategies and tools that support successful project implementation.

The Mystical Danube partnership actively contributed to the workshop by presenting its own communication experiences and achievements. The presentation, titled “Storytelling from the Project’s Perspective,” was delivered by Lead Partner Project Manager Matej Mikulić, representative of Zadar County Rural Development Agency (AGRRA), and Momir Širko, representative of PP5 – City Development Agency Banja Luka (CIDEA).

The presentation focused on the Mystical Danube Project and how storytelling was used as a central tool to create the Green and Mystical Danube Storytelling Route, a transnational tourism initiative connecting natural heritage, local traditions, legends, and community-based tourism across nine Danube-region countries.

In addition to the Mystical Danube presentation, other projects shared their experiences and good practices in project communication. The workshop also provided opportunities for participants to ask questions, exchange ideas, and learn from one another’s experiences.

This event provided an excellent opportunity to share the knowledge and experiences gained through the Mystical Danube Project with a wider audience.
