Paths of Legends and Mountains

11 May A training session on creative guiding for the thematic route between two lakes was successfully organized for tourist and hiking guides interested in improving their interpretation and storytelling skills related to natural and cultural heritage.

The training was conducted through two segments — a theoretical and a practical part. During the theoretical sessions, participants learned about creative guiding concepts, interpretation techniques, and innovative ways of presenting local stories, legends, and natural values.

The practical part of the training took place directly on the route, where participants visited key points between the lakes and, working in pairs, presented locations in a new and interactive way. Through this field activity, guides developed approaches that can provide visitors with a more authentic and engaging experience in nature.

The route “Paths of Legends and Mountains” represents a new tourism product developed within the “Mystical Danube” project. This unique experience connects nature, local legends, and outdoor activities, creating an authentic experience for visitors.

In the upcoming period, the Agency, in cooperation with the TOP, will continue developing and promoting this tourism offer with the aim of enriching the destination’s content and supporting sustainable tourism development.
