Memorandum of Cooperation Signed to Advance Green Promotion and Slow Tourism

As part of the Mystical Danube project, the Podgorica Agency for Protected Areas Management signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Podgorica Tourist Organization, marking an important step towards the development of sustainable, authentic and responsible tourism in Montenegro.

Through this partnership, we will work together on:

  • Empowering local experts through specialized training for tourist guides, focusing on nature interpretation and storytelling;

  • Creating authentic experiences through the development of the thematic route “Between Two Lakes – the Path of Mountains and Legends” in Komovi Nature Park;

  • Promoting green promotion and “slow tourism” by increasing the visibility of the Komovi Nature Park and the Green and Mystical Danube Storytelling Route.

Together, we are building tourism that preserve nature, celebrate local heritage, creates meaningful  experience for visits.
