k+ Career Day in Ostrava

On November 11, 2025, this year's edition of the "k+ Career Day" event, organized by the Career Center of the Technical University of Ostrava, took place at the Technical University of Ostrava. The event took place in the University Auditorium and was intended not only for students, but also for recent graduates and employees looking for new professional direction or inspiration for further career growth.

During the day, a series of inspiring lectures focused on personal development, motivation, and modern trends in the labor market took place. Visitors learned how to write a CV, a cover letter, or how to shine in an interview. They could also learn how to effectively use artificial intelligence when preparing for selection procedures while remaining themselves.

The event also included a mini-fair of exhibitors, where representatives of companies, institutions, and university projects presented themselves. Among others, PP4 MS PAKT partner also had a place here as an advisory center. PP3 Slezská Ostrava partner also visited this event as an opportunity to establish cooperation with the University as a potential stakeholder. The partner also presented the "SteelCityZen" project to some exhibitors and established a number of useful contacts for its pilot phase in the project.

Visitors to the event had the opportunity to establish personal contact with employers, find out about internships and job opportunities, or simply discuss their career options. In the Consultation and Advisory Zone, individual 15-minute consultations with Career Center advisors and HR specialists helped students improve their resumes, prepare for interviews, or set up a career plan. The atmosphere of the entire event was complemented by a chill-out zone and small competitions with interesting prizes, which contributed to a relaxed and friendly mood.
