MS Pakt as an expert partner in the SteelCityZen project – the first 6 months completed!
The Moravian-Silesian Employment Pact as a expert partner is together with the city district of Slezská Ostrava are involved in the SteelCityZen project. This international initiative connects 11 organizations from 9 countries within the Interreg Danube Region Programme, focusing on supporting (mono)industrial cities during economic transformation.
Our role in the project:
During the first six months, we contributed primarily to the analytical phase of the project.
Together with our partners, we:
conducted a stakeholder survey focused on identifying and engaging key local actors. The goal was to establish a framework for stakeholder cooperation within the project – including communication channels – and to prepare for a deeper analysis of local labour markets and their diversification potential.
prepared a methodology and analysis of good practices across Europe (a total of 165 examples), designed a status quo analysis methodology, which will be implemented in the next
phase in participating cities and regions.
