TOP JOBS - career forum was held in Stara Zagora from 11th to 13th September

From September 11 to 13, Stara Zagora hosted the national career forum TOP JOBS - a platform that brought together institutions, businesses, academic circles and young people in a dialogue about the future of work in regions in transition. The atmosphere in the Regional Library "Zachary Knyazheski" showed not only the ambition, but also the real capacity of our city to be a leader in the transformation of the economy and the labor market.

Several key highlights were made during the event:

Deputy Mayor Radostin Tanev emphasized that if we want Stara Zagora to remain the industrial engine of the country, we must constantly invest in modern industrial zones and infrastructure. The results are already visible - over 4,000 new jobs in the last 4 years and two consecutive years of recognition as the "Municipality with the most investments in Bulgaria".

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy Ivan Krastev pointed out that the major challenging factor is ensuring a well-prepared and highly paid workforce. The transition to new energy and industrial models is technologically complex, but people remain at the center of change.

The Thracian University also played an important role, whose representatives emphasized the digital transformation and the need for young people to see a perspective for development in the region.

Over 300 registered participants, more than 20 exhibitors, over 40 speakers and 5 special skills workshops created a dynamic environment for meetings, exchange of ideas and building new contacts.

TOP JOBS 2025 showed that Stara Zagora is a place where young people can discover real opportunities for development, and businesses - their future talents. Together we are building a city that looks forward and offers a perspective for everyone.🚀
