Lead Partner seminar and Synergy Building workshop held in Buchares

On 11 June 2025, the Interreg Danube Region Programme MA/JS held the Lead Partner seminar for the second call Lead Partners. The following day, the Synergy Building and Capitalisation workshop took place, with the first call Lead Partners and EUSDR Priority Area Coordinators in attendance.

On the first day, the DRP MA/JS gave presentations on project management, covering topics such as how to approach project changes, how to prepare for the first year review and how to report in JEMS (in terms of both content and finances). The most inspiring part of the seminar was the presentation of good management practices from the projects. The lead partners presented their approach to organising work and shared practical advice with their colleagues. The EUSDR Priority Area Coordinators also informed the participants on how they could help them topic wise and how they could benefit from the stakeholders networks.

The second day was dedicated to synergy building and capitalisation activities. The projects from both calls were grouped within wider thematic groups, and they discussed potential areas of cooperation. This was an opportunity for them to meet and get to know each other.

At the beginning of the workshop, four projects from Specific Objective 3.3 were presented. Culture and Tourism, presented how they collaborate with other projects, both within and outside the DRP programme area.
