The 5th International Conference “Antimicrobial Resistance – Current State and Perspectives: From Science to Practice”
The 5th International Conference “Antimicrobial Resistance - Current State and Perspectives: From Science to Practice” was held in Novi Sad, Serbia, from 28 to 30 May 2026, bringing together experts from veterinary and human medicine, public health, environmental sciences, academia, regulatory authorities, and industry to address antimicrobial resistance (AMR), one of the most pressing global challenges of our time.
👩🔬 During the conference, Dr. Sci. Vet. Med. Ana Vasić presented the EU funded project from the Danube Region Programme "Avian resilience and adaptation through Awareness monitoring, Treatment, and Outreach for Raptors - AVIATOR" and shared preliminary results obtained in Serbia.
🦅 The presentation highlighted ongoing activities aimed at improving raptor conservation, monitoring, and disease surveillance within the Danube region.
🤝 The conference provided an important platform for multidisciplinary exchange of knowledge and experiences, fostering collaboration and supporting the development of practical solutions for reducing antimicrobial resistance through the One Health approach.
