SReST Final Conference 2026: Celebrating Socially Responsible Slow Food Tourism in the Danube Region

Join Us in Zlatibor, Serbia | June 2–3, 2026

The partners of the SReST project – Socially Responsible Slow Food Tourism in the Danube Region – are pleased to invite stakeholders, tourism professionals, local communities, educational institutions, media representatives and project partners to the SReST Final Conference, taking place on June 2–3, 2026 in Zlatibor, Serbia.

The final event will bring together project partners and regional actors to present the achievements, pilot actions, and long-term impact of the SReST project across the Danube Region. Through presentations, discussions, culinary demonstrations and study visits, participants will explore how socially responsible and slow food tourism can contribute to sustainable regional development, inclusion of vulnerable groups, food heritage preservation and rural revitalisation.

Participants who cannot attend in person will also be able to follow the conference online via Google Meet using the official connection link provided in the event information.
