Hungary Launches Super Pilots

🇭🇺 Plenty of enthusiasm in #Hungary!
This year’s harvest will be rich not only in 🌶️ and 🍉—but in urban innovation too. Five agile pilots are now taking off in Hungarian cities:

🌡️ EnviMap (Envirosense Hungary Ltd.) introduces a satellite-based urban heat mapping system in Debrecen, in partnership with EDC Debrecen Urban and Economic Development Center. The tool pinpoints high-risk heat zones to guide green infrastructure planning and protect public health under climate change.

🚴 Florescence pilots solar-powered, tech-enabled bike storage in Kecskemét. The solution upcycles vacant urban infrastructure into smart public units, complete with a web app for rentals and payments—boosting secure and sustainable cycling.

🧠 Gamax Ltd. tests an urban data platform in Dunakeszi that integrates live city data—from transport to air quality—into one AI-driven interface. By spotting patterns, it supports better decisions and more efficient city operations.

💧 Genius Smart Group deploys AI-powered remote water meter reading in Gerjen and Hódmezővásárhely. Using infrared imaging, it detects leaks in aging networks in real time—cutting water loss and laying the groundwork for smarter municipal energy management.

💊 Hunnia-Patika rolls out a mobile pharmacy service with teleconsultation and doorstep delivery in rural areas around Szeged. Designed for underserved villages, it combines tech, logistics, and local partnerships to reach more than 800,000 residents lacking nearby pharmacies.

👉 #AgilePiloting is an open, collaborative journey—and you 🫵 can be part of it, too. Reach out to our Hungarian partners Neumann Technology Platform and HROD Social Economy and Community Development Centre to get involved.
