The DECIDE Memorandum of Understanding
At the final Steering Committee Meeting on 12 May 2026 in Čakovec, Croatia, the DECIDE project partners adopted the jointly elaborated “Memorandum of Understanding on Supporting the Sustainability, Transfer and Uptake of Project Outcomes and Results Beyond the Project Duration”.
The document establishes a framework for voluntary cooperation beyond the project lifetime and aims to ensure the long-term sustainability, transfer, dissemination and practical application of the project’s results. It defines key areas of cooperation, including institutional integration, capacity building, cross-sectoral collaboration, strategic networking, knowledge transfer and support for SMEs. Particular focus is placed on the long-term maintenance and further development of the tools, learning resources and methodologies developed within the project to maximise their impact across the Danube Region.
All 16 DECIDE project partners from ten countries of the Danube Region signed the Memorandum of Understanding, reaffirming their joint commitment to supporting the sustainability, transfer and continued uptake of project outcomes beyond the end of the project.
